Shooting for political thriller set in UP begins in Lucknow today

Another political thriller set in UP will be shot in Lucknow from to day . Tentatively titled Lucknow Times, the film will be directed by Sudip o Sen, who has won several awards at in ernational film festivals. Actress Divya Dutta and National Award winning actors Subrat Dutta and Usha Jadhav play vital roles in the film, which is inspired by real life incidents in UP .
Shares Sen, “We have two working titles or the film as of now, Duvidha the original one , and later we zeroed in on another title Lucknow Times because the film is set in Lucknow.

Both these titles have been registered with IMPA (Indian Motion Pictures Association). The story of the film revolves around four college-going youngsters two girls and two boys, who get kidnapped by a political group, how the drama unfolds, and leads to empowering the youth in the political system. Youngsters rom different parts of UP like Kanpur, Noida and Lucknow and eastern UP , have been chosen to play these roles. I am inspired by UP politics and its young CM, Akhilesh Yadav .“ An actor from Lucknow, Sandeep Yadav plays the part of the UP chief minister in the movie.
According to line producer Dicky Singh, “The shooting will begin at Society Park in Narhi today . The entire shooting schedule of the film in Lucknow is of 35 days. The cast of the film arrived here yesterday. The film will also be shot at Bada Imambada, Hazratganj and other historical monuments in the city , apart from adjoining villages of Lucknow such as Salimpur and Mallu Kheda.“
